Breaking Free Sculpture Exhibition

sponsored by the Santa Clara Cultural Commission

October 2 - November 28, 2021

Reception: Saturday, October 2, 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Earlier this year the City of Santa Clara held its sculpture completion, the theme of which was Breaking Free. This year’s competition was unlike all previous, given the restrictions and protocols resulting from COVID-19, which made a full public exhibition of the selected works. The Triton Museum of Art was pleased to have been able to somewhat counter those restrictions by producing a Pocket Exhibition video.

In a further effort to assist the Santa Clara Cultural Commission, in light of the many changes in County mandated public access, The Triton Museum of Art is pleased to showcase the three award winning works by Jennifer Lay, Oleg Lobykin, and Elizabeth Jimenez Montelongo, from October 2 through November 28, 2021.

IncuArts - Persist, Persevere, Be

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Thrilled to be exhibiting virtually in the IncuArts show “Persist, Persevere, Be”!

“Persist, Persevere, Be is an exhibition exploring resilience in the face of discrimination. Issues related to systematic forces of racism, gender and orientation discrimination, and neurodiversity are explored with a sense of intimacy and emotional insight. Within each piece, the artists approach these subjects to connect, to break free from the isolation these forces cause and share the emotional weight they bare due to them.”

“Ties” is available to view online until June 15!
