“Ties” was inspired by the humble beginnings for many Chinese immigrants to the USA as laborers in the railroads.

“Ties” was awarded 1st Place in the “Breaking Free” Sculpture Exhibition held by the Triton Museum in San Jose, sponsored by the Santa Clara Cultural Commission.

Inspired by her heritage, "Family Dinner” aims to explore cultural diaspora and the blending of cultures through food.

“Family Dinner” was awarded Juror's Choice Award while on display at the Euphrat Museum of Art in 2019. Shannon Wright was the show’s juror.
